What Is Microblading?

Eyebrow microblading has gone by many names: eyebrow embroidery, micro-stroking and feather tattooing. Microblading uses micro needles to inject pigment into the surface layers of the skin. It is done with a manual hand tool and each hair-strokes is carefully drawn by the artist, making the brows look amazingly natural.

Microbladed brows give you’re a natural look and fell. The tattoos suit your normal pattern of hair development. Pigments with yellow and orange undertones are also used in the procedure and they tend to have a more natural brown color when healing.
Since it uses a manual hand device, the pigment doesn't reach as far into the skin, so it won't last as long when it's done on an oilier skin. Your microbladed brows will last from a couple of months to a year, but their lasting effects will vary person.
*Note:
Microblading is known to be a semi-permanent makeup so be prepared to arrive somewhere between three and six months after your initial appointment for touch ups. This technique is recommended if the ink has not gone way too deep. Otherwise the brows will stay very dark and the hairstroke won't be clear enough to make a difference.
